Rebirthing Breathwork Retreat and Training JULY 23rd-JULY 28th, 2025

The Sierraville Rebirthing Breathwork Retreat and Training offers an expansive and integrative experience of Rebirthing Breathwork. This experience gives participants a clear path to incorporate Rebirthing into their current practice. Participants will work with the elements of earth, air, water and fire, as well as continue to study and integrate Affirmations and Beliefs and the causes of trauma (a.k.a. the Biggies). Anatomy and Physiology of the Breath will be covered in detail to help participants understand the science of the breath and its value on a physical level. Participants will experience four high quality Rebirthing sessions.

This dynamic training is designed for the individual who is:
new to Rebirthing Breathwork, for those who are ready to train as a Rebirthing Breathwork practitioner, and for the Professional Rebirther to increase their knowledge base and to expand their Breathwork practice.

A natural by-product of this training is complete relaxation, self-discovery, expansion of your breathwork practice, and the joy that happens when like-minded individuals come together and experience real spiritual community.

This educational and experiential course is for all those who wish to excel in their Professional Rebirthing Practice and for those new to Rebirthing Breathwork. You will be given the tools and foundation to establish or expand your personal breathwork practice, while you also create a living relationship with the Elements of Earth, Air, Water and Fire.

This Training is very thorough and is aimed at both new and experienced rebirthing breathwork practitioners. You will be immersed in the physically beautiful Sierra Nevadas as you Embody Your True Self Utilizing Prana. This training is recommended for those who are seeking to go deep into their personal healing and for those who are ready to become a beacon of compassion, understanding and leadership. Rebirthing is a simple and gentle way of breathing that restores emotional balance, while relaxing, refreshing and alkalizing the human body. It is learned and developed as a practice over a series of 10 sessions to clear the mind, rejuvenate the body and establish well being. This premier West Coast training offers a comprehensive exploration of the following:

  • Greater understanding of the physiological effects of Rebirthing – what are the benefits of circular, connected breathing; how do our thoughts and feelings affect our energy body; what is the link between the expression of our feelings and the suppleness of breathing; how to heal our breathing mechanism.

  • Daily sharing and a wealth of information and morning seminars with a handful of highly skilled rebirthing breathwork trainers.

  • Identify and release core stories, limiting beliefs and family patterns.

  • Understand language and the roots of unconscious thought cycles, begin to establish a relationship with affirmations and mantras.

  • Identify your Personal Truth or Personal Law and how it could be impacting your relationships, career, and self-image.

  • Individual Rebirthing sessions with a skilled Rebirthing Breathwork practitioner..

  • Instruction and demonstration of warm and cold water rebirthing.

  • Centering and relaxation exercises.

  • Learn to Successfully guide clients through 10 sessions; enhance your communication skills with effective client contact statements.

  • Goals and subject matter for the first ten sessions.

  • Advanced techniques to assist in specific situations with clients: prolonged tetany; staying awake; and birth trauma.

  • Practical clientele building strategies

  • Increase vitality and youthful play, learn to uncover the unconscious death urge.

  • Spiritual Purification Practices practiced daily for a balanced mental and emotional state with bathing, spiritual community, breathing, and movement.

  • Understand your birth script and how it influences your life.

  • Learn the art of setting your fees and negotiating.

  • Rebirther’s Code of Ethics.

  • Devotional singing and meditation.

Each morning we gather in the woods to read longevity and physical immortality affirmations, share and participate in informative and lively seminars on many subjects.  It is a time to re-connect with each other every morning after bathing, breakfast and a good walk to this area.  The sounds of the wind moving through the pine needles and bird songs are welcomed as are the fragrances of pine and sage which cover the land.

“Spiritual practices with air (breathing); water (bathing twice daily including warm and cold water rebirthing); fire and earth (fasting, percussion instruments, having a career you love, exercise, movement) are the secrets to everlasting life of health and youthfulness in the body”. –Leonard Orr, The Manual for Rebirthers.

We integrate these practices including mind mastery and meditation throughout the training.

Once you notice the positive effects on your mind and body you will want to incorporate these practices in your daily life!

In addition to ‘dry’ Rebirthing sessions, warm and cold water instruction is given to trainees.  All sessions are one-on-one.

Cold water is not plunging into water, but using the connecting breathing method while walking ever so slowly into the water beginning with the toes.

One does not proceed until the water feels warm – that is integration of the sensations.  There is no goal to completely submerge but to have an experience integrating the sensations.  Some people do not progress beyond their ankles, others are blissfully floating assisted by their partner.  Leonard always said that cold water rebirthing dissolves biological fear.

Rebirthing draws an international community. The level of cultural differences and experiences brings depth, quality and multiplicity to our trainings.

Each afternoon after Rebirthing sessions we gather for sharing of the highlights of sessions.  Such individual sharing in the presence of others giving their attention, presence, and care is a valuable aspect of Rebirthing Breathwork trainings.  Being fully present with people in sessions and in groups is one of the highest forms of love that we can give to each other.

The camaraderie, ease, trust and laughter is a result of the cumulative sharing, spiritual practices and being together over the course of the training.

There is nothing quite like being in nature, bathing twice daily in healing hot mineral waters, fasting, having rebirthing sessions daily, silence, food for the mind and emotions and spiritual community that always form in our trainings.

You will experience what it feels like to have a ‘clean and balanced’ energy body and physical body that bring ultimate joy and peace.
